ABOUT
Mont is a small Australian studio bringing patterned fabrics to residential and commercial interiors. Based in Melbourne, Mont Studio was launched in 2020 by Jarnah Montersino.
Jarnah studied textile design at RMIT, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and visual art at Victorian College of Art, University of Melbourne. Her work strives to consider the space between art and interiors, exploring abstraction, organic forms and colour.
Working in collaboration with a number of Australian printing houses, Mont strives to produce work that has less impact on the environment by creating quality products that are made to order, resulting in minimal textile wastage. Digital printing means no water is used and there is no waste ink during the printing process. This collection of fabrics and printing process has OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certification, which means that every component of the product has been rigorously tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals.
Fabrics are available for purchase through the textile showroom, Style Revolutionary.
